Welcome to Twin Pike Way, Wigginton...or now more commonly known as Twinklepike Way! Twinklepike Way Christmas lights started in 2001 with the aim of raising as much money for Charity as possible; in fact so far to date has raised a staggering £45,304.41! A full list of the Charities that have benefited are on the donations page.
Over the years the residents of Twinklepike Way have appeared on Look North and in the York Press; they have even had an official opening by the Lord and Lady Mayor a few years ago.
This year, to add increased publicity and awareness, this website was started. The website has been kindly designed and donated by Mark Wise Services in order to help with the fantastic fundraising that the residents do every year.
The donations are all down to you so lets hope we can make this year the best year ever!

This years lights can be seen from 4:00pm until 10:30pm every day from Sunday 29th November through to Sat 2nd January.
How this all started
Now you probably want to know a little more about Twinklepike Way.
Well, the Christmas lights take about 4 full weekends (plus lots of other time in between) to set-up. This includes setting up the phenomenal amount of wiring needed to link everything together for which they are grateful to Howard, the street electrician and genious!
What about the electricity bills? Huge is the answer, however, every single penny raised goes to charity leaving the residents to foot the bill!
